Kasalan sa Gensan 2010 To Highlight Wedding Culture, Tradition of SOCCSKSARGEN

Following the success of Kasalan sa Gensan last year, General Santos City and the rest of SOCCSKSARGEN (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kuldarat, Saranggani, General Santos City) will showcase the wedding products, services, customs and tradition of Central Mindanao and highlight their prime wedding and tourism destinations during Kasalan sa GenSan – Kalilang sa Gensan on February 26 – 28, 2010 at the Gaisano Atrium of Gaisano Mall of Gensan.

Kasalang Filipino 2010 is a nationwide wedding and tourism fair road show, which ties twelve (12) Philippine cities with one goal of promoting the local wedding industry. The following are the 12 cities of the 2010 road show – Cabanatuan, General Santos, Lucena, Baguio, Dumaguete, Pampanga, Malolos, Davao, Tagaytay, San Fernando, Bacolod, and Cagayan de Oro.

Endorsed by the Department of Tourism, Kasalan sa Gensan is the first bridal fair in SOCCSKSARGEN for 2010 and the second leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010, co-presented by Kasal.com, and ABS-CBN Regional Network Group in cooperation with Mga Konsepto, Ideya, Atbp. and Gaisano Mall of Gensan.

Aside for creative wedding displays, numerous activities have been lined up for attending couples such as hand painted cake and culinary demonstrations, as well as bridal bouquet competition. Aspiring and professional make up artist will showcase their skills at the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Bridal Make up competition. Finally, Clarence Clare Boutique will take over the runway and display their latest wedding fashion collection in a special fashion show. Lucky couples will get a chance to win free wedding giveaways and honeymoon packages during the bridal fair.
