The country’s best wedding suppliers were together under one roof during the Manila leg of Kasalang Filipino 2009 12-city wedding fair and exhibit held last October 1 – 2, 2009 at The Enterprise Center in Ayala Ave., Makati City.

Over 40 of the country’s best wedding suppliers showcased their various products and services during the two-day event. Soon-to-wed couples and guests who attended the event were entertained by the soulful music of The Sentimental Groove. Ms. Mozhgan Amoranto, Brand Manager of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, along with Ms. Ana Abainza, Ever Bilena’s chief make-up artist, shared tips and advice to brides on how to choose make-up products that suits them.

Nine aspiring and professional make-up artists showed off their creativity and skills at the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Bridal Make-up Competition. But it was Mr. Ramon Rivera who took home the laurels and emerged as champion. He won for himself the grand prize of P20, 000.00 worth of Ever Bilena products, 1-year Platinum Priority Listing advertising in Kasal.com worth P24, 000.00, and a trophy. He will also be featured in the company’s various ad campaigns.

All the couples who attended the event received free gift packs while lucky couples received special beauty gift packs and honeymoon packages to Tagaytay, Bohol, and Boracay courtesy of the event sponsors. Mr. Noel Ello del Castillo‘s fiancée, Ms. Vanessa de Luna Veniegas, was the luckiest as she won a specialized French clip earrings with 14 brilliant diamonds set in 14 karat polished gold worth P15,000.00.

Kasalang Filipino 2009 is a nationwide wedding fair road show, which ties twelve (12) Philippine cities with one goal of promoting the local wedding industry. The following are the 12 cities of the 2009 road show – San Pablo, Tagaytay, Tarlac, Dagupan, Legazpi, Dumaguete, General Santos, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Bacolod, Manila, and Cebu. This year’s Kasalang Filipino is endorsed by the Department of Tourism.
